The Li-Ion 36v battery of the City Bug 2 Electric Scooter has a range of up to 12 miles on a single charge, which can take approximately 3 hours. At first glance, the City Bug 2 Electric Scooter appears to be nothing more than a normal push scooter as there are no throttle or brake cables visible. All cables are cleverly concealed within the sleek body of the electric scooter. To bring the scooter to a slow and controlled stop, you can release the pressure on the handlebars which will gradually slow the scooter down. There is also a further brake fitted to the rear of the scooter which can be operated by foot. The brushless 350w motor of the City Bug 2 Electric Scooter will engage when you push off and push forward on the handlebars to accelerate away up to speeds of 10mph with ease.

The City Bug 2 Electric Scooter also features a switch which allows you to limit the maximum speed to 4mph. For maximum safety, the City Bug 2 Electric Scooter has a load sensing platform, which will cut all power to the scooter when there is no weight detected on the scooter.
